YSRCP corporator representing the 19th division in the Anantapur Municipal Corporation Balanjineyulu joined the TDP in the presence of Anantapur Urban MLA Daggubati Venkateswara Prasad and district party president Venkatasivudu Yadav on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Prasad said Mr. Balanjineyulu joined the party after witnessing the development ushered in by the NDA government. He said sincere and hard-working leaders had no recognition in both the Congress and YSRCP.
Mr. Prasad further said the previous government did not give funds to the corporators for taking up developmental activities. In contrast, developmental works costing ₹30 crore were grounded in the past six months, he said. Mr. Venkatasivudu said Mr. Balanjineyulu would be given due recognition in the party. Meanwhile, Amma Foundation founder Riyaz too joined the TDP in the presence of the MLA and party president.
