Reacting to a case filed against her, former minister and YSRCP leader Vidadala Rajini alleged that Chilakaluripet TDP MLA Prathipati Pullarao influenced the police to lodge a false case. Addressing a press conference on Saturday (Febrauary 08), she also alleged that her family members were also included in false cases under the influence of the TDP MLA.
She explained that the police lodged a case on her based on a social media post related issue pertaining to 2019. She said that the police in 2019 filed a case against a TDP follower for his social media post. Citing this as a violation, the same person lodged complaint with the police and even went to the A.P. High Court. Now, the police lodged case on her and claimed Mr. Pullarao was behind these developments.
Ms. Rajini warned that she would not leave the issue and would return in course of time. She suggested the NDA government focus on serving the people who elected them instead of indulging in harassment by lodging false cases.
She also warned that certain officials who were trying to act against the YSRCP leaders in the constituency would face severe punishment after former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy forms the government in the future.
