Patralekhaa celebrated her 35th birthday on Thursday, February 20. The actress received an outpouring of heartfelt wishes from fans, friends, and industry colleagues on her special day. Among those who extended their greetings was filmmaker Farah Khan. The choreographer, who is busy shooting for the culinary reality show Celebrity MasterChef, shared a heartwarming picture on social media.
In the photograph, she can be seen holding Patralekhaa from behind as they strike a pose for the camera. Dropping the picture on Instagram, the filmmaker penned, “Happiest birthday to my girl, Patralekhaa. You’re a diamond in a world of rhinestones!! Love you and bless you always.”
Actor Rajkummar Rao also took to social media to pen a note for his wife, Patralekhaa, on her birthday. On his Instagram handle, the actor shared two photos with a simple and sweet caption. It read, “Happy birthday, my love, Patralekhaa. I Love You.” The first image showed the actress striking a pose wearing an off-shoulder dress. In the next mushy click, the birthday girl can be seen holding Rajkummar from behind as they smiled for the cameras.
Patralekhaa is married to actor Rajkummar Rao. The couple first worked together in the film City Lights in 2014 and later shared screen space in Samjhana. The duo tied the knot in November 2021 in Chandigarh in the presence of close friends and family. The attendees included bigwigs like Farah Khan, Rao’s close friend Hansal Mehta, Article 15 director Anubhav Sinha, Luv Ranjan, The Family Man creators Raj and DK, among others.
On the cinematic front, Patralekhaa will be seen in the biopic Phule which is scheduled to release on April 11. Directed by Ananth Mahadevan, the film is set at the time when the girl child was refused education and pushed into marriage. Phule revolves around a husband and wife who chose to educate his wife and were social reformers; they went to campaign for increased rights for the underprivileged. Besides this, the actress also has Suryast and Gulkanda Tales in her kitty.
