
The Gangothri unit of the Youth Hostels Association of India (YHAI), Mysuru, has organised three-day trekking programmes on February 20, 21, and 22.
A press statement from YHAI’s Gangothri unit vice president K.M. Gopamma said, “The first trekking programme scheduled for February 20 will be to Chamundi Hills. A water adventure programme at Varuna Lake and a visit to the Payana car museum will also be part of it.”
The second trekking programme on February 21 will be to the Bhimana Kindi near Kanchanahalli at Halaguru in Malavalli taluk and a visit to Somanathpur, a UNESCO heritage site near T. Narsipur.
The third trekking programme on February 22 will be to Sri Sidilu Mallikarjunaswamy Betta near Bettadapura in Periyapatna taluk and a visit to Golden Temple at Bylakuppe near Kushalnagar.
