Yaduveer to inaugurate Centre of Excellence at VVCE

MP for Mysuru Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar will inaugurate the Enventure Audodesk Centre of Excellence at the Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering on Monday, January 27.

Addressing media persons here on Thursday, Mr. Anil Sivadas, CEO and Director of Enventure Engineering, said the centre of excellence marks a pivotal step in their expansion into tier-two cities, aligning with the Karnataka government’s Beyond Bengaluru initiative.

He said Enventure is a global leader in design and technology solutions in the USA, Canada, and Europe. The new facility at VVCE, established in collaboration with the college, will provide specialised training for students and faculty on advanced tools and technologies.

Mr. Sivadas said this facility will focus on designing high-rise buildings, stadiums, hotels, and hospitals for US clients while generating significant local employment opportunities in Mysuru. It is also aimed at creating career opportunities for electrical, civil, and mechanical engineering graduates, fostering local talent, and strengthening the local economy.

VVCE Principal B. Sadashive Gowda said the college signed an MoU with Enventure last year. As part of this collaboration, electrical, civil, and mechanical engineering students in their seventh semester are offered internships with stipends. Each year, around 30 to 35 students are recruited into full-time roles with competitive salaries after completing their internships and degrees.

The feedback from students has been overwhelmingly positive. To support this initiative, the VVCE has provided the necessary infrastructure for Enventure to benefit hundreds of students in the coming years, said Mr. Gowda.

He added that the collaboration underscores the synergy between academia and the growing technology ecosystem in Mysuru, further establishing the city as a hub for innovation and talent development. The inaugural event will bring together industry leaders, local community members, Enventure employees, and the VVCE alumni.
