Who’s Your Gynac season 1, starring Saba Azad, stood out for exploring a bold topic with sensitivity and a touch of humour. Now, the makers dropped the trailer for season 2 and it brings a fresh twist to Dr Vidushi Kothari’s journey. The trailer begins with her father advising her to take a job as an assistant gynaecologist, but Vidushi follows her path by starting her clinic. She meets patients with unique problems but finds it difficult to manage her clinic. Despite her hard work, she struggles to keep it running, leaving her feeling frustrated and searching for answers.
The trailer also offers a peek into the fun, drama and emotional moments in Vidushi’s life, including her relationship with her boyfriend and interactions with her friends. Directed by Himali Shah, the upcoming season also stars Karishma Singh, Kunal Thakur, Vibha Chibber and Aaron Koul in key roles.
As per the official synopsis, “Vidushi feels content with her growing practice and blossoming relationship with Arth, but insecurities creep in when she compares her modest achievements to his success. Her father, Papa Kothari, is loving but overprotective, discouraging her from pushing her career further. However, Vidushi proves herself a capable doctor, helping patients through complex cases, including delivering triplets and diagnosing Nurse Violet’s perimenopause. Nurse Violet’s rare praise, coupled with honest criticism about Vidushi’s lack of self-confidence, helps her realize her worth. With the love and support of her friends, family, and patients, Vidushi finds new strength in her clinic and herself.”
In a previous interview with ANI, Saba Azad shed light on her character and the support she has received.
She said, “What’s most delightful about Vidushi’s struggles and triumphs is how real and relatable they are, I think everyone will be able to see a little bit of themselves in her story. The kindness and support from our fans has been so wonderful and we’re excited to bring them more laughs, tears, and memorable moments with this new season.”
Other than Who’s Your Gynac Season 2, Amazon Prime also announced new seasons of Ek Badnaam Aashram, Half CA, Sixer, Hunter, Jamnapaar, Campus Beats and Gutar Gu, alongside new shows, such as Bhay: The Gaurav Tiwari Story, Mitti, First Copy, Lafangey, Dosti, Duniya, Made in India: A Titan Story, Petty Cash and Bindiya.
