Sharvari visited the landmark Attari-Wagah Border in Amritsar, Punjab, this week where she also attended the ceremony. Several pictures and videos from her visit have surfaced on the internet, showing the actress enjoying herself with fans and officers. Following the procession, she took pictures with the jawans at the border. Her fans were overjoyed to meet her and rushed to interact with her.
For her special visit, the Majaraj actress opted for a long Kashmiri embroidered coat paired with a black kurta and jeans. In one of the videos, she could be seen sharing hugs and taking pictures with her fans who quickly surrounded her. There were also a few kids who were excited to see her.
Meanwhile, the latest reports suggest that Sharvari has been locked for Sooraj Barjatya’s next film. The film also stars Ayushmann Khurrana as the lead. A report by Pinkvilla quoted a source saying, “The industry has been bullish about Sharvari since last year and a legendary director like Sooraj Barjatya choosing her as the heroine of his film is the biggest stamp of approval that Sharvari is one of the best new actors of India.”
According to the source, four to five actresses were being considered for the female lead in Sooraj Barjatya’s upcoming film, but the filmmaker chose Sharvari. The source added that the filmmaker is very meticulous about casting his films, and now that the lead duo is locked, he will move on to get a skilled ensemble cast on board.
Sharvari had a spectacular 2024 professionally. She featured in the Netflix film Maharaj, with Junaid Khan for which she received high praise. Her acting in Vedaa co-starring John Abraham also garnered acritical acclaim. Vedaa was written by Aseem Arrora and featured Tamannaah Bhatia, Abhishek Banerjee, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Kshitij Chauhan in important roles.
Sharvari will next be seen in Alpha, alongside Alia Bhatt. Directed by Shiv Rawail, Alpha would be the first female lead film in the YRF espionage series. Aditya Chopra’s spy universe debuted with the smash film Ek Tha Tiger. It was followed by War, Pathaan, Tiger Zinda Hai, and Tiger 3. The upcoming films in the series also include War 2.
