Recently spotted in Mumbai, the actor opted for a jetty ride to save time on his journey. As paparazzi rushed to capture him, videos of the moment quickly went viral on social media. However, as Pankaj Tripathi was about to board the jetty, he politely requested the photographers to refrain from taking his pictures.
In the clip doing rounds on Instagram, Pankaj Tripathi is seen heading towards the jetty while paparazzi follow him, requesting a pose for the camera. In his signature humble style, the Stree actor folded his hands and gently asked them not to click his pictures, saying, “Merko jaane do aaj. (Please let me go today.)”
Recently, Pankaj Tripathi, along with his wife Mridula Tripathi, took a holy dip at the Maha Kumbh 2025 in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Giving fans a glimpse of their spiritual journey, Mridula shared a carousel post on Instagram.
The first picture captures her in a moment of devotion as she prays while taking a dip in the sacred waters. The next image features the couple together, immersed in the holy river. Another heartwarming snapshot shows Pankaj and Mridula posing with their daughter, Aashi Tripathi, marking a special family moment at the grand religious gathering.
During his visit to Prayagraj, Pankaj spoke with news agency ANI. He said, “The vibes here are very spiritual.” I’m delighted that I was able to take a holy dip in the Triveni Sangam.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Pankaj was last seen in the horror comedy film Stree 2 co-starring Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana.
He will be next seen in Anurag Basu’s next anthology film Metro…In Dino. It also stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta and Konkona Sen Sharma in the lead roles. The official release date of the film is yet to be announced.
