Vivian Dsena has been garnering headlines since he recently appeared on Bigg Boss 18. Although Vivian has been a known TV actor for many years now, fans saw a different side of him on the show. However, some people also felt that Vivian was arrogant. In a recent chat with Pinkvilla, Vivian opened up about his acting journey and reflected on why people think he has an attitude.
Recalling how he was rejected 350 to 400 times in his early days, Vivian said, “I think everyone experiences this, and I am nobody special. I don’t have this big struggling story. Every actor experiences this phase in their life.”
The actor emphasized the importance of rejection and explained, “Rejection is the most important part of an actor’s life… It is important that confidence gets shattered. Ups and downs are important because life is not constant.”
As to why people think Vivian has an attitude, he said, “I am somebody who is lost in his own world. So people used to think, ‘Yaar, isme badha attitude hain, pata nahi kya samahta hain aapne aap ko.’ That was a perception.” He continued, “Plus, I wasn’t used to connecting personally. I have just been and out and out professional because you are going for work and that’s responsibility. So, you should better focus on that.”
He said, “Zyadatar roles hi meine ayese kiya hain, toh logon ko lagta hain ye real mein bhi ayesa hoga. Real mein bhi RK (his character from Madhubala) ke tarah baat karta hoga. I have always been the opposite of the character I have played. Jitne characters play kiye hain, usme anger ek common factor hain (I have mostly played such roles, so people think I am the same in real life too—that I must talk like RK in real life as well. But I have always been the opposite of the characters I have played. In all the characters I have portrayed, anger has been a common factor).”
