Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal is basking in the success of his recently released film Chhaava, which has been performing well at the box office. On Monday, the actor arrived at Mumbai’s Babulnath Temple to seek blessings. He was spotted by the paparazzi as he made his way to the temply to offer his prayers. Several videos from his visit to the temple have also gone viral on Instagram. The historical drama, directed by Laxman Utekar, became the biggest Hindi opener of 2025 so far, and is also Vicky’s biggest opening as a leading man till date.

Vicky Kaushal channelled his desi avatar, and donned a beige kurta with white pajamas, along with Kolhapuri chappals and a pair of dark sunglasses. He smiled and greeted his fans with folded hands as he made his way to the temple amid tight police security. He also posed with a few fans for pictures on the way. Chhaava, starring Vicky, Rashmika Mandanna, Akshaye Khanna and others, collected Rs 33 crore on Day 1, and emerged as the biggest Hindi opener of 2025. This is Vicky’s biggest opening as a leading man till date as well. After a solid opening, the Laxman Utekar-directorial saw a massive jump on its first weekend and collected close to Rs 50 crore on Sunday alone. Early estimates suggest the historical action film earned Rs 49.63 crore on its first Sunday, pushing its total earnings for the first three days to Rs 117.63 crore.

Chhaava is a biographical historical action film based on the life of Maratha Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. It is an adaptation of the Marathi novel Chhava by Shivaji Sawant. In the film, Vicky Kaushal portrays the character of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the eldest son of the Maratha empire’s founder. On the other hand, Rashmika Mandanna takes on the role of Yesubai Bhonsale in the film. The film also stars Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, Diana Penty, and Divya Dutta in key roles.
