The Dabeerpura Police, along with the South East Zone Task Force, apprehended two individuals involved in fake educational certificate racket.

During the operation, authorities seized 91 fake certificates of multiple universities, including 43 from Kakatiya University, 23 from Acharya Nagarjuna University, 8 from Osmania University, 10 from the National Board of Secondary and Senior Secondary Education in New Delhi, 2 from Annamalai University, and 5 from various other institutions.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Abdul Qadeer, 47, a private teacher from Shalibanda, and Mohd Shakeel, 37, an unemployed resident of Farhath Nagar, Dabeerpura, said Commissioner of Rachakonda Police, G. Sudheer Babu, adding that a third accused, Sanjay Sharma, a resident of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, remains absconding.

“The duo were caught while travelling on a two-wheeler towards Yakutpura. They were allegedly supplying fake educational certificates to individuals seeking jobs abroad despite lacking proper qualifications. In exchange, they collected huge amount of money from the desperate job seekers,” said the Commissioner.

Investigations revealed that the men were running the operation in coordination with Sanjay Sharma.

“They collected details and payments from individuals in need of fake certificates and shared them with Sharma via WhatsApp. Sharma then created the forged documents and sent the hard copies to Abdul Qadeer through courier, who, along with Shakeel, distributed them to clients,” said the officer.
