Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha and senior State Government officials held a meeting with the representatives of Reliance Industries in Agartala on Saturday (March 22, 2025) to explore investment opportunities in the State. The meeting was a fallout from the Chief Minister’s meeting with the Reliance CMD Mukesh Ambani on two separate occasions.

The officials of India’s business major who were present at the meeting were led by the Business Head (Northeastern Zone) of Reliance Jio. The topic of the discussions was investment opportunities in the State in various key sectors.

Tripura officials proposed working in sectors like IT and tech services, data centres, natural gas exploration, fertiliser, ethanol production from bamboo, rubber and agro-based products, food processing, and tourism. It was known the delegation had specifically shown interest in IT-related matters.
