Reema Kagti’s Superboys of Malegaon, gained much appreciation from Sharvari and Triptii Dimri.

Reema Kagti, renowned for critically acclaimed films like Talaash (2012) and the OTT series Dahaad (2023), recently released Superboys of Malegaon on Amazon Prime Video. Produced by Reema alongside Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, and Zoya Akhtar, the movie has surely amazed many of its viewers. Triptii Dimri and Sharvari soon posted heartfelt wishes for the cast and crew of the film.

On her Instagram stories, Triptii Dimri shared the poster of Superboys of Malegaon and revealed her honest feelings after watching the movie. She wrote, “A must-watch! Laughed..cried and left feeling deeply inspired..” She further lauded the makers, writing, “Huge applause to the actors and the entire team for such a wonderful experience @reemakogtil @zoleakntar @ritesh_sid @faroutakhtar @vidushck @gouravadarsh @vineet_ksofficial @shashank aroгo @muskkaanjaferi @riddhikumar @anujsinghduhan @pallavsinggh @sagibayub.”

Sharvari also dropped the poster on her Instagram stories and congratulated the makers for creating such a wonderful piece of content. Her note atop it can be read as “Heartwarming. Inspiring. And just makes you smile even when you cry! For those unaware, the 131-minute-long film first debuted on September 13, 2024, in the World Premieres section of the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival Gala program. Superboys of Malegaon is based on the documentary film Supermen of Malegaon, written and directed by Faiza Ahmad Khan. The plot of the movie revolves around the lives of the residents of Malegaon, a city in Maharashtra, and their unwavering passion for filmmaking. The entire narrative highlights communal tensions, poverty and hardship to finally make spoofs on Bollywood movies.

The film features Adarsh Gourav as Nasir, Vineet Kumar Singh as Farogh, Shashank Arora as Shafique, Muskkaan Jaferi as Shabeena, Saqib Ayub as Irfan, Anmol Kajani as Nadeem, Anuj Singh Duhan as Akram, Riddhi Kumar as Mallika, and Gyanendra Tripathi as Nihal.

On the work front, Sharvari has been riding high in the acting career. In 2024, she was seen in three films – Munjya, Maharaj and Vedaa. Currently, she is filming for her upcoming movie, Alpha, which is scheduled for release in 2025. Recently, the actress also shared another picture on her Instagram stories, giving a sneak peek into her professional front. The snap featured a reel camera, atop which, she wrote, “New city shot on a new roll! toooo much excitement!” without revealing the meaning of the picture.

Meanwhile, Triptii Dimri appeared in Bad Newz as Saloni Bagga, in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video as the titular character Vidya and in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 as Meera / Rajkumari Madhulika, last year. Currently, she is busy in the filming of Dhadak 2 and an untitled film.
