There has never been a dull moment when Kareena Kapoor, the epitome of grace and elegance, has graced any event. From donning exquisite ensembles to customised attires, the diva has always been stealing hearts. Recently, in a video from her photoshoot for the eminent jewellery brand Malabar Gold and Diamonds, the actress simply dripped in gold and looked glamorous.
On Instagram, makeup artist Savleen Kaur Manchanda posted a video featuring scintillating glimpses from Kareena Kapoor Khan’s latest photoshoot. In the clip, the actress looked the prettiest in a leheriya saree in tones of rust and black. Donning the vintage-style drape adorned with gilded zari work in stripes made the mother of two look like a million bucks.
Her shoot caught the attention of her friend and filmmaker Rhea Kapoor, who remarked, “Such a fun day.”
The pallu of her six yards of elegance was fixed on her right shoulder while on the other side, her stylist tucked in a sheer rust-hued dupatta with a broad golden border. However, her yet another style statement – a mustard gold corset blouse amped up her desi lady-coded look. It featured a striped inlay design and an off-shoulder plunging neckline. Kareena’s ensemble, elegantly draped around her waistline, made her look no less than a fine wonder.
The OG fashionista rounded off her look with traditional temple jewellery. The series of accessories included a multi-layered necklace, a pair of stud dangler earrings, beaded kadas and statement rings.
Coming to Kareena’s makeup, she opted for a subtle foundation base alongside dollops of blush on her cheeks to team up with her ethnic attire. The diva’s beamingly bright skin featured defined brows, winged eyeliner, kohl-rimmed waterline, and golden eyeshadow. Finally, glossy but barely-there lip tint and a tiny bindi wrapped up her entire charm. For hair, she opted for centre-parted open tresses to cascade down on her shoulders. Altogether, she looked no less than a diva.
Soon after the video was posted online, social media users couldn’t stop themselves from praising the actress. Kareena’s stylist Rhea Kapoor mentioned, “Such a fun day.” One user wrote, “So Masterpiece.” Another user added, “Actual queen of Bollywood.”
On the work front, the 44-year-old actress was last seen in the 2024-released Singham Again in the role of Avni Kamat Singham. Kareena represented the character of Sita in the Cop Universe sequel of Singham. The movie featured an ensemble cast of Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor and Jackie Shroff. Although prepared on a high production budget, it couldn’t recover the budget despite crossing the Rs 300 crore mark at the box office.
