
With summer starting to make its presence felt in the State, day temperatures are set to rise by 2° to 3°C above normal in some parts of the State. The Kerala State Disaster Management Authority (KSDMA) has alerted that day-time maximum temperature in the State is expected to be 2° to 3°C above normal on Thursday. Hot and humid conditions are likely to prevail with the presence of high humidity in the air coupled with rising temperature, said the KSDMA. It has also asked people to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight during between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
