
The maximum day temperature is likely to be 2-3˚Celsius above normal at isolated places over Kerala on Wednesday, according to a weather bulletin issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday.
Dry weather prevailed over most parts of Kerala and Lakshadweep on Tuesday. However, the prevailing easterlies and north-easterlies over Kerala are likely to trigger some isolated showers across south and central Kerala for the next couple of days.
A yellow alert warning of isolated heavy rains has been issued for Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, and Pathanamthitta on Friday.
