British actor Mark Strong, known popularly for his films such as ‘Sherlock Homes’, ‘Kingsman: The Secret Service’, among others, is currently enjoying his trip to India. During the trip, he also met his ‘Dune: Prophecy’ co-star and Bollywood actress Tabu. Looks like the two co-stars reunited in Mumbai to enjoy a meal during Mark’s maiden trip to India, and they have now shared pictures from the get-together.
Tabu took to her Instagram on Saturday to share two lovely photos with Mark Strong. The pictures show the actress happily posing with her ‘Dune: Prophecy’ co-star at a restaurant in Mumbai. In her caption, she wrote, “Javicco and Francesca re-unite!! @mrmarkstrong,” along with red heart emojis. For the unversed, the two actors were seen together in the ‘Dune’ spin-off series, and played on-screen love interests. While Tabu plays the role of Sister Francesca in the HBO Max series, Mark plays Emperor Javicco Corrino. Needless to say, fans were thrilled to see the stars reunite. Meanwhile, Mark also shared a photo with Tabu from their meet-up in Mumbai, and praised her while sharing the photo. “The glamorous beautiful talented Tabu and her biggest fan! Had a wonderful evening reuniting Francesca and Javicco.. @tabutiful #dune #duneprophecy #mumbai,” he wrote. Tabu looks gorgeous in an off-white dress with a matching coat. She left her tresses open, and accessorized with golden hoop earrings and a dainty necklace. Mark was seen in a black shirt.
Meanwhile, yesterday, as Mark posted photos from his trip to Jaipur, Tabu welcomed him to India. “Enjoying Jaipur in Rajasthan. Amazing place and wonderful people! #india #indiapictures #travel,” the actor wrote, while sharing pictures from the trip. He visited the Amer Fort in Jaipur, and also explored the famous Johari Bazaar in the city. Commenting on the post, Tabu wrote, “Welcome to India.”
Tabu’s character Sister Francesca was introduced in the fifth episode of ‘Dune: Prophecy’. The episode aired in India on December 16, 2024.
