Super Subbu, a comedy series starring Sundeep Kishan and Mithila Palkar, is set to make its digital debut soon. Directed by Mallik Ram, this upcoming Telugu series is already creating a buzz online. The series promises a blend of light-hearted comedy and family drama and will be available for streaming on Netflix. Notably, Super Subbu marks Netflix’s first-ever original Telugu series, bringing fresh entertainment to your screens.
The streaming platform announced the show with a poster on X, revealing that it’s their first Telugu original. The caption reads, “He’s super unlucky. He’s super awkward. He’s super Subbu. Super Subbu is coming soon, only on Netflix.” The release date is yet to be disclosed.

Having no prior experience in this subject, Subbu faces plenty of obstacles as he navigates this challenging role while keeping it a secret from his strict father. As he survives the quirky village life, he also hopes to chase his dreams and even find true love.
Packed with drama, humour and unexpected twists, the upcoming series promises to be full of fun-filled comedic chaos. Bankrolled by Rajiv Chilaka and Bharath Laxmipati, the series boasts an ensemble cast, including Sundeep Kishan, Mithila Palkar, Murali Sharma, Brahmanandam, Maanasa Choudhary and others in pivotal roles.
At the ‘Next On Netflix 2025’ event, the makers of Super Subbu stated, “We are thrilled to collaborate with Netflix on this original Telugu series. It promises to showcase an intriguing setting, fun characters and a fresh premise. With it being Netflix’s first Telugu series, we’re excited for the show to reach audiences everywhere.”
