Sudhanshu Pandey, who announced his departure from Anupamaa last year, has now opened up on rumours about his feud with his co-star Rupali Ganguly.

Sudhanshu Pandey, who played Vanraj Shah in the immensely popular daily soap Anupamaa, left his fans shocked with his decision to quit the show last year. He had been associated with the television show since its premiere in 2020, and announced his exit in August 2024. Soon after he quit, rumours of his feud with co-star Rupali also surfaced on the Internet. Sudhanshu has now broken silence on this matter, denying any rift between them.
In a conversation with Indian Express, Sudhanshu set the record straight about his equation with Anupamaa co-star Rupali Ganguly, saying that all is well between them, and that the hour years they worked together were fantastic. He also revealed that he shares a good equation with her, and she even messaged her about something on Instagram. “Even though there are so many stories going around, whatever I said was my side of the story, and it was 100 percent the truth. Stories have nothing to do with reality, so don’t believe them. All is well; the four years have been fantastic. I will cherish being a part of Anupamaa all my life. The equation with Rupali is all okay. I was chatting with her recently. She messaged me about something on Instagram, and we were bickering about it. So it is all fine,” he clarified.
Meanwhile, Sudhanshu also explained that the reason behind announcing his exit on social media was because he felt responsible towards his audience. He said that many were wondering where Vanraj had gone, so he had to inform them that he wasn’t going to be a part of the show. “I didn’t want them to be later shocked or heartbroken. At least I told them personally, and they didn’t come to know from other sources,” he said.
Apart from Anupamaa and many other television shows, Sudhanshu Pandey has also been a part of films such as ‘Radhe’, ‘Jersey’, ‘Bypass Road,’ among others. He is reportedly a part of Karan Johar hosted reality show ‘The Traitors’. It is the Indian adaptation of the American game show of the same name, and will feature an intriguing group of celebrities.
