Guwahati: In order to curb criminal activity in Guwahati, two separate police teams have successfully apprehended thieves and recovered stolen goods. A team from the West Guwahati Police District (WGPD) from Gorchuk Police Station arrested two thieves, Md Maidul Khan (25) of Gorchuk and Md Mijanur Ali (25) of Barpeta. The police recovered one reported stolen laptop from their possession, and legal action has been initiated against the duo. In another operation, a team from the Central Guwahati Police District (CGPD) from the Noonmati Police Station recovered seven mobile phones and one laptop that were reported either stolen or lost. The police handed over the recovered items to their legal owners after conducting due diligence.
