Ishaan Khatter and Bhumi Pednekar’s The Royals teaser is making headlines and how. Ever since the teaser was dropped, several B-town celebrities have praised Ishaan and Bhumi’s on-screen chemistry. Well now, actress Sonam Kapoor re-shared the teaser of The Royals and showered her love on the lead actors—Ishaan Khatter and Bhumi Pednekar. On February 4, the actress expressed how impressed she was with the teaser and showed her admiration for Ishaan and Bhumi’s work. Dropping the teaser, she wrote, “So sweet.”
Earlier, Shahid Kapoor also expressed his excitement and gave a shout-out to his younger brother, Ishaan Khatter’s series. The Deva actor shared the first look of the film on Instagram Stories.
“Looking like a true royal Ishaan Khatter. All the best to the entire cast and crew of the Royals Zeenat Aman, Bhumi Pednekar, Dino Morea, Sakshi Tanwar,” Shahid wrote.
Helmed by Nupur Asthana and Priyanka Ghose, the Netflix series is all set to bring forth the new-age romance. Ishaan plays Aviraaj Singh, a carefree heir to the royal throne of Morpur. Bhumi Pednekar, on the other hand, essays the role of Sophia Kanmani Shekhar, CEO of a luxury homestay startup.
In the romantic comedy, the duo unites to save the royally dysfunctional family of Aviraah from financial failure while also saving the luxury homestay startup of Sophia in India.
Besides the on-screen chemistry between Bhumi Pednekar and Ishaan Khatter, the series boasts an ensemble cast — legendary actress Zeenat Aman. The series marks her Netflix debut and comeback to the glitz world.
Chunky Panday, Sakshi Tanwar, Nora Fatehi, Dino Morea, Milind Soman, Vihaan Samat, Kavya Trehan, Lisa Mishra, Sumukhi Suresh, Udit Arora, and Luke Kenny are also part of the show.
