Sonakshi Sinha never misses a chance to turn heads and she did just that at a recent college event. The actress was seen making a grand entrance, flashing her signature smile as she stepped out of her car. Fans were quick to gather around, eagerly awaiting a glimpse of the star. Among them was one particular fan who got a warm greeting from Sonakshi herself. The actress then made her way into the college campus and her presence created buzz around.
For the event, the 37-year-old actress chose a beautiful sea-green kurta and pants set that perfectly matched her style. To give her outfit a cool twist, she threw on a chic denim jacket. Her choice of accessories – jhumkis – was on point too. Keeping her glam game understated, she went for soft makeup and styled her sleek hair in an open, natural look. To top it off, she added a pair of sunglasses. The video was shared on Instagram by Instant Bollywood.
Talking about her professional career, Sonakshi was last seen in the comedy-horror film Kakuda, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and produced by Ronnie Screwvala under RSVP Movies. Alongside Sonakshi, the film starred Riteish Deshmukh and Saqib Saleem in lead roles. The screenplay was written by Avinash Dwivedi and Chirag Garg.
Before Kakuda, Sonakshi made a mark with her performance in Netflix’s Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the series is set in the red-light district of Heera Mandi in Lahore during the Indian independence movement against the British Empire. The drama explores the lives of tawaifs and features an ensemble cast that includes Manisha Koirala, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Sharmin Segal Mehta and Taha Shah Badussha.
Looking ahead, Sonakshi will reunite with husband Zaheer Iqbal for the upcoming film Tu Hai Meri Kiran, directed by Karan Rawal. The couple had previously shared screen space in the 2022 film Double XL which also starred Huma Qureshi. They also collaborated on a music video titled Blockbuster.
After seven years of relationship, Sonakshi and Zaheer got married last year in Mumbai. Their low-key wedding was followed by an extravagant reception, which saw a star-studded guest list. Celebrities like Salman Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Kajol, Rekha, Tabu, Huma Qureshi and Honey Singh, among others, were present to celebrate the special occasion.
