Sky Force Box Office Collection Day 1: Veer Pahariya’s debut film sees jump.

Sky Force Box Office Collection: Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya’s much-anticipated film, Sky Force, was released in theatres on January 24. The film is receiving a positive response, especially in key regions like Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru, where the evening and night shows have the highest occupancy. After a positive Friday opening, the film has witnessed a jump in its collection.

On Saturday, Day 2, the film earned Rs 21.50 crore (approx) net at the domestic box office. The film had minted Rs 11.25 crore (India net) on Friday. This brings the film’s total collection to Rs 33.75 crore.

Sky Force had an overall 35.76% Hindi Occupancy on Saturday with night shows witnessing the most footfall. However, cities like Bengaluru, Chennai and Mumbai had the most occupancy.

The film delves into A B Devayya’s unyielding spirit and pivotal role in one of history’s most significant conflicts. Directed by Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani and produced by Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande, and Amar Kaushik, Sky Force is set to release in theatres on January 24, 2025.

Produced by Jio Studios and Maddock Films, Sky Force releases in theatres this Republic Week on January 24, 2025. News18 Showsha gave it 4/5 stars. An excerpt from the review read, “At 2 hours and 5 minutes, Sky Force makes for a crisp and taut screenplay that rarely drops pace. Kudos to the director duo, who seamlessly blend in their individual instincts and style, never once making you wonder that there are two captains sailing the ship! The film is bereft of melodramatic dialogues about desh bhakti or contrived sequences aimed to evoke sappy sentimentality. The makers manage to strike a fine balance between realism and cinematic flamboyance and they deserve brownie points for the same.”

“One of the major highlights of Sky Force is its breathtaking aerial combat sequences packed with edge-of-the-seat thrill. They may remind you of Fighter but unlike the Hrithik Roshan starrer, this one isn’t amply slick, cool and stylish, but that works with the template and mood of the film. These scenes are punctuated with moments that accentuate the valour and sacrifices made by fighter pilots,” the review also mentioned.
