Shah Rukh Khan and legendary actor Shashi Kapoor’s grandson, Zahan Kapoor, recently came together for a new commercial that made waves on social media. In a recent conversation shared by Varinder Chawla, Zahan Kapoor opened up about his experience working with Shah Rukh Khan and lauded the superstar for his inspiring dedication towards his craft.
Zahan said, “What an experience it was to watch him at work! He is also so much in service of the job. When he’s there, he has this kind of gentle… ‘I am here to work, the director wants another shot. Theek hai aapko kya chahiye? Kar lenge.’ He has no tantrums, no nakhras.”
Zahan added, “He’s there. He’s diligent. It was a difficult shoot matlab paani main, tank main, fans chal rahe hain. You know, it was all sorts of… wind machines, bheeg rahe ho, thand lag rahi hai and he’s not… I mean, he’s older now. He’s extremely fit. My god, body unki baap re baap. It’s too much. But unki shiddat dekho.” Zahan called Shah Rukh Khan’s work ethic inspirational and lauded his dedication towards acting.
The advertisement showcased both actors in a power-packed avatar, leaving fans impressed with their onscreen chemistry. The Pathaan actor himself has shared the advertisement on his X handle. The video opened with Zahan Kapoor all set for surfing but the weather conditions were not good. However, Shah Rukh Khan’s entry made things comfortable. “Jo kehte hai abhi tera time nahin, unko galat saabit karne ka sahi time yahi hai. Zahan Kapoor is currently being celebrated for his performance in Black Warrant. He made his debut with Hansal Mehta’s Faraaz. Despite belonging to the Kapoor clan and being Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor’s cousin, Zahan did not have a commercial debut that made a lot of noise. While speaking with Mid-Day, Zahan Kapoor said that he was terrified of being launched as a Kapoor kid, and decided to take a ‘rooted approach’.
On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for his next film King. The Bollywood superstar confirmed that the film will be directed by Siddharth Anand, who previously also helmed SRK’s Pathaan. King Khan also assured everyone that the upcoming movie would be entertaining and that everyone would love watching it in theatres.
