Kartik Aaryan has reportedly promised two films to Sharvari, including Patni Patni Aur Voh 2.
Ananya has bagged Kartik’s film?
Karan Johar, on Christmas, announced that he is teaming up with Kartik Aaryan for the ‘biggest love story’ of 2026, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri. Earlier, it was said that Ananya Panday and Sharvari were leading the race to star opposite Kartik. Now, Ananya Panday has reportedly been locked in for Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri. Amid this, fans have speculated that Sharvari’s latest Instagram post is a cryptic note in response to these reports.
Sharvari shared an image from a temple and wrote, “Prayers are always answered… Just have faith.” Initially, rumours were rife that Janhvi Kapoor was in contention for the role. Then it was reported that Karan would either lock Ananya or Sharvari.
Bollywood Hungama quoted a source as saying, “Kartik and Karan were looking for an actress with strong pull in the youth, and after contemplating the names, they have locked Ananya to play the female lead. Ananya and Kartik are a successful pair, and this would extend their partnership further.”
Kartik and Ananya previously worked together in Pati Patni Aur Voh. However, as per the report, Kartik has offered the film’s sequel to Sharvari. “While Ananya is doing Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, Kartik has promised another film to Sharvari. The duo will be teaming up on another love story by the end of 2025. Kartik is clear to maintain equations with all his female co-stars, and a promise made now will be fulfilled soon. He has also offered Pati Patni Aur Woh 2 to Sharvari,” the source added.
As for, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, the film is scheduled to go on floors in May 2025. Starring Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday in the lead, the film is directed by Satyaprem Ki Katha fame Sameer Vidhwans. The rom-com, produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Namah Pictures, is slated for release in 2026.
