Shanaya Kapoor completes shoot of her debut film
Shanaya Kapoor is all set to make her acting debut with Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan co starring Vikrant Massey. The film, based on Ruskin Bond’s short story titled The Eyes Have It, shoot has been completed. Shanaya shared the photos on her social handle. As per a report by Peeping Moon, Shanaya will be seen portraying a theatre artist, while the 12th Fail actor will be seen playing a blind musician.
Today, Shanaya took to her Instagram handle and shared a series of BTS photos. In the photos we can see her sharing glimpses from the sets. The budding actress called it ‘Special’. As soon as she shared it went viral. One of the fans wrote, “Congratulations! Looking forward to seeing your hard work on screen.” Another wrote, “Shanaya cutie.” Many also dropped heart and fire emojis.

Helmed by Santosh Singh, known for his projects like Broken But Beautiful and Apharan, the film is penned by acclaimed writers like Niranjan Iyengar and Mansi Bagla. Backed by Mansi and Varun Bagla’s Mini Films, Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyaan marks their second collaboration with Vikrant after the Forensic remake. The film is aiming for a mid-2025 release. However, an official confirmation of the film is still awaited.
Shanaya was earlier announced to debut with Karan Johar’s production Bedhadak co-starring Kill actor Lakshaya and Call Me Bae actor Gurfateh Parizada. However, the project was reportedly shelved due to unknown reasons. She will apparently also be seen in a Student of the Year web series backed by Dharma Productions.
Vikrant, on the other hand, is currently enjoying the success of his recently released thriller film Sector 36 which also starred Deepak Dobriyal in the lead. He will be next seen in The Sabarmati Report which is slated to hit the big screens on November 15. Directed by Dheeraj Sarna, the film also stars Raashii Khanna and Ridhi Dogra in significant roles. Apart from this, Vikrant also has director Rajkumar Hirani’s debut web series in his kitty.
