Shahid Kapoor talks about Mira’s love for Jab We Met, playful banter with her and shares details about his upcoming film Deva.

Shahid Kapoor opened up about his personal life, including his relationship with wife Mira Rajput and his thoughts on family dynamics. He humorously reflected on how Mira keeps him grounded, admitting, “It is always the women in your life who give a reality check,” while adding, “Ki bohot kharab tha,” referencing her playful critiques. Shahid shared that he listens to her deeply because he knows that she loves him and cares for him.
Talking about Mira’s preferences, Shahid revealed that she enjoys watching romantic films, particularly his film Jab We Met, where he starred alongside his ex-girlfriend, Kareena Kapoor Khan. However, their personal relationship ended before the film’s release, and Kareena went on to marry Saif Ali Khan, while Shahid married Mira.
“Mira likes to watch Jab We Met as a genre,” he said, adding, “She says, ‘Tum Aditya jaise to 5% bhi nahin ho.’” Shahid jokingly responded, “Shukar hai main Kabir Singh bhi 5% nahin nikla.”
In his interview, Shahid also humorously discussed his role at home, saying, “Wife is always a boss, and kids are boss ke manager,” showing the affectionate chaos of his family life.
