Shahid Kapoor shares new video ahead of Deva release
Shahid Kapoor starrer Deva is releasing on January 31 and ahead of the theatrical release, the actor shared a special video. It is a compilation of all intense action scenes. Shahid also wrote a note saying that the film is very special in all manners. Fans also reacted. Pooja Hedge will be seen in the lead role.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Shahid shared the video and wrote, “One year of blood sweat and tears. 2024 was all DEVA !!! MERA DIL MERI JAAN. MERA KAAM MERI SHIDDAT. MERA ACTING KE LIYE PYAAR. MERI AUDIENCE KE LIYE MOHOBBAT. MERA SAALON KA EXPERIENCE MERA ANDAR KA CREATIVE BACHHA. SAB HAI IS DEVA MEIN….. Till today he was mine. From tomorrow he is yours.”

Shahid has opened up about Deva’s storyline. In a press conference, the actor elaborated on how his character in Deva is different from that of Kabir Singh. Shahid Kapoor revealed, “It’s an aggressive character but ‘Deva’ is very Deva, there is no Kabir Singh in it. Deva is also not like any other character… Till ‘Kabir Singh’ people said, ‘Oh! Is he like Tommy Singh in ‘Udta Punjab’?
Shahid added how Deva became so close to his heart. “You’ll find all the answers on January 31st,” he said in response to a question on what, aside from his character, makes the movie unique.
He continued, “As an actor, I tend to keep my work to myself. I want everyone to sense it. All I’m doing is adding a little filler. I found playing that role to be intriguing. I’ve always made an effort to select challenging movies for my filmography. My second goal is to use my films to reach a wider audience. It can be challenging to locate both of these elements in a single movie at times.”
