Shah Rukh Khan Attends Ashutosh Gowariker’s Son’s Wedding, Sets Sharp Dressing Goals In Black Tuxedo

Ashutosh Gowariker’s son Konark married Niyati Kanakia in a star-studded wedding with Bollywood celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, and Vidya Balan attending.

Shah Rukh Khan was a part of Ashutosh Gowariker’s son’s reception.

Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker’s son’s wedding was a starry affair. The who’s who from Bollywood such as Aamir Khan, Vidya Balan, Javed Akhtar-Shabana Azmi, were all ‘shaadi-ready’ as they posed for photos before entering the wedding venue. There was another guest who attended the party but didn’t pose for a photo-op. In case you are still wondering – it was Shah Rukh Khan!

SRK arrived at the wedding looking dapper in a black tuxedo set with well-gelled hair. He was accompanied by his manager, Pooja Dadlani, and his security entourage. Needless to say, the superstar walked into the room oozing his usual charm and made heads turn with his mere presence. Gowariker welcomed him with a warm hug. Check out the video here:

Ashutosh Gowariker and SRK go back a long way. Together, they teamed up for Swades in 2004, known as a cult Indian film. Gayatri Joshi, who was also a part of the project, arrived with her husband, businessman Vikas Oberoi.

Meanwhile, many moments from the wedding and pre-wedding ceremonies have been going viral. However, the hero clip was when Lagaan maker Ashutosh Gowariker walked up to the stage and danced to O Mitwa, a chartbuster track from his own film. Take a look:

Konark Gowariker, son of Ashutosh Gowariker and producer Sunita Gowariker, got married on March 2. He tied the knot with Niyati Kanakia, daughter of Rasesh Babubhai Kanakia of Kanakia Builders. Their wedding festivities began with the traditional haldi ceremony on February 28, followed by a sangeet ceremony on March 1, attended by their families and close friends.

An elaborate reception was hosted by the couple’s families after the wedding. It was a lavish affair with a stunning venue, elaborate decorations, delicious food, laughter and music. The extended celebrations was attended by SRK, Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Raj Thakrey, Eknath Shinde, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Chunky Panday, Sonali Bendre, Pooja Hegde, Riteish Deshmukh-Genelia Deshmukh, Sajid Khan, among others.
