Selena Gomez in a recent interview with W magazine revealed some of her biggest pet peeves.
Selena Gomez is spilling the beans on what really annoys her. The 32-year-old star recently got candid about some of her biggest pet peeves in an interview. From people who are consistently late to how others treat those around her, Selena revealed how certain behaviours can really get under her skin. She also touched on some personal confessions including her first crush and experiences working on her award-winning role in Emilia Perez.
“My pet peeves are people who are late,” Gomez said during an interview for W Magazine’s Best Performances Issue.
The Calm Down singer also shared that she gets bothered by how people treat others especially if it is different from how they treat her. “I notice those things very quickly. Because I have lovely people in my life that have nothing to do with the industry, and I really pay attention to how people treat my friends and people around me,” she added.
During the conversation, the Rare Beauty founder also opened up about her childhood crushes and let’s just say, she had quite a few. One of the standouts for her was Jesse McCartney. “When ‘Beautiful Soul’ came out — that was just life-changing for me,” she said.
“I loved Chad Michael Murray from One Tree Hill. I also just had crushes more in real life than on actors or musicians,” Selena continued.
Moreover, she also recalled her first ever kiss which happened on TV. “I guest-starred on The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, which starred Dylan and Cole Sprouse. It was with Dylan, and it was really funny because both of us were so young. We were figuring out how to kiss. I had never done it, and I was so scared,” the Wizards of Waverly Place alum said.
In the same interview, Selena Gomez also highlighted the experience of working on Emilia Perez. She said, “None of us had actually seen the movie until Cannes. We were all kind of sinking into our seats, not really sure what was going to happen. The reception after was really beautiful. I was so happy for Karla and for [director Jacques Audiard]. It felt like we were seen and deeply appreciated.”
In other news, Selena celebrated the end of 2024 with a heartwarming Instagram post featuring herself and Benny Blanco with whom she got engaged last month. The singer shared a delightful mix of photos and videos starting with a playful shot of a paper plate with beans and “I love you” written in ink.
The carousel also included a cozy selfie with Benny, a glimpse of their glamorous night out and a video of the two sharing a kiss. Selena shared a picture of them posing like for a security footage monitor at a T.J. Maxx store.
To wrap it up, Selena posted a shot of herself with her younger sister enjoying Serendipity 3’s famous frozen hot chocolate in New York City plus a mirror selfie showcasing her sparkling engagement ring. She captioned the post with, “Happy new years.”
