Amid the mounting criminal lawsuits against American rapper and record producer Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, his rise and fall are being dissected by several of his alleged victims and former employees in the upcoming The Fall Of Diddy. The four-part docuseries will feature bombshell interviews in the hour-long episodes, building up on the previous allegations. In one of the most harrowing revelations, former Vibe editor-in-chief Danyel Smith has recalled an intense interaction with Combs, claiming that the rapper threatened her to death.

In one of the episodes, Smith shared how he got furious when she didn’t show him some pictures from a story in the publication and wanted to see her “dead in a trunk.”

“After the shoot, Mr. Combs wanted to see the covers before they were published. It was policy for us not to show the covers to anyone before they were published. He called my office and I spoke to him. I told him that I wouldn’t be making an exception and he said that he would see me dead in a trunk if I did not show it to him,” she said in the preview of the docuseries.

The claims have been reportedly denied by Combs as included in the docuseries, as per Rolling Stone.

Further in the conversation, Smith shared how she stood up to Combs and added, “My attorney called him to say that if he didn’t immediately fax over an apology, my attorney was going to reach out to law enforcement. It took about 90 minutes to two hours, and I received that faxed apology.”

Apart from Danyel Smith, many others, including producer Rodney Lil Rod Jones, Diddy’s former driver, and chef, were also interviewed. Thalia Graves, who previously accused Diddy of drugging and assaulting her in 2001, will also be seen speaking out in the series, sharing her alleged encounter with the rapper.

Sean Combs is currently lodged in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, awaiting his May 5 trial over sex trafficking charges.
