Sanya Malhotra has been winning hearts with her performance in MRS. The film released on OTT has received an overwhelming response from the audience. Well, recently, a video of her dance performance to the popular track Jalebi Bai at an event has gone viral. Sanya is seen showcasing her dance skills, leaving fans and attendees in awe.
In the video, shared by Instant Bollywood, we can see Sanya wearing a magenta colour saree and looking beautiful in a neatly tied hairstyle. She is dancing to the song while a fan is recording it. Many fans dropped heart and fire emojis in the comment section. Mrs is a Hindi adaptation of the Malayalam hit The Great Indian Kitchen, portrays the story of a newlywed woman who navigates regressive patriarchal traditions.

‘Mrs.’, starring Sanya Malhotra, Nishant Dahiya and Kanwaljit Singh, is directed by Arati Kadav. It premiered at the 2024 Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, and was also screened at the New York Indian Film Festival. The movie has sparked significant conversations, particularly among women, with many praising it as an honest portrayal of the harsh realities they often face behind closed doors.
In a conversation with PTI, Sanya Malhotra said that she knows that some people are getting triggered by Mrs, while others are getting emotional looking at their story being featured in a film. She said that this was why the makers decided to direct Mrs. Sanya noted that the film was very personal for her and remains relevant as she knows people who have gone through similar circumstances as the protagonist Richa.
Sanya won the Best Actress award for her performance in Mrs at the 2024 New York Indian Film Festival. The actress also received a standing ovation for her portrayal at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2024. Apart from her, Mrs features actors Nishant Dahiya, Siya Mahajan, and Kanwaljit Singh in key roles.
