Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu is known for being an avid dog lover and is also a proud parent to a Persian cat named Gelatao and two dogs named Haash and Saasha. The actor loves spending time with them and even shares glimpses of her quality moments with her furry friends on social media. In a new addition, Samantha shared a cute picture of herself cuddling her pet pitbull Saasha. She added a soft melody to the background, making it even more adorable.
The Baby John star shared the clip on her Instagram story with the caption, “My big baby #pitbullsarelife #Saasha.”
The video shows the actress resting her face on her sleeping dog’s head, with her eyes closed. She caressed Saasha lovingly in the clip. It is followed by another close-up picture of her dog on social media.
Samantha’s furry friends often feature on her feed, showcasing her love and attachment to her pet dogs and the cat.

Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu was recently honoured by Behind Woods for completing 15 remarkable years in cinema. Sharing her joy on Instagram, Samantha posted stunning pictures from the event held in Chennai, where she looked radiant in a golden silk saree, elegantly paired with a choker and pearl earrings. She was joined by filmmakers Raj and DK, her collaborators from The Family Man Season 2 and Citadel: Honey Bunny. Expressing her gratitude, she captioned the post, “15 years. Grateful. Blessed. Loved. Many more to come. Thank you, Chennai! Thank you @behindwoodsofficial for the honor.”
Samantha Ruth Prabhu made her acting debut in 2010 in the Telugu film industry with Ye Maaya Chesava, which also featured her ex-husband Naga Chaitanya. She further went on to star in films like Eega, Anjaan, Kaththi, Super Deluxe, Mahanati, and more. The actor was most recently seen in Raj & DK’s Prime Video show Citatel: Honey Bunny, a prequel to the Russo Brothers’ spy series The Citadel. She was paired alongside Varun Dhawan in the lead roles.
Coming to her film projects, Samantha’s last theatrical release came with 2023’s Kushi with Vijay Deverakonda. She is currently busy with the shooting of Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom with Raj & DK. The film features Aditya Roy Kapoor.
