Bollywood star Salman Khan has revealed that Zanai Bhosle’s recently released song ‘Kehndi Hai’ is one of his favourites now. On Thursday, Khan took to his Instagram stories and revealed that he has also added the song to his playlist. He shared a video featuring veteran singer Asha Bhosle listening to her granddaughter Zanai’s song.
In the caption, Salman called Asha “sweetest” and wrote, “Asha Ji you are the sweetest and this is adorable… Congratulations, Zanai Kehndi Hai is already on my playlist…” Check it out here:
Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman Khan is currently busy shooting for his upcoming movie, Sikander. The film is directed by A.R. Murugadoss and also stars Rashmika Mandanna Sathyaraj, Prateik Babbar, Kajal Aggarwal, and Sharman Joshi among others in key roles. Sikander will hit theatres on Eid 2025.
While Sikander will mark Salman and Rashmika’s first film together, the two are also likely to unite for another project, which will be directed by Atlee. Earlier today, Filmfare quoted a source saying, “Both Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna had a great working dynamic on the sets of Sikandar. Rashmika’s performance in Pushpa 2 impressed both Salman and Atlee, as well. That’s why the makers have decided to sign her in Salman and Atlee’s upcoming film, too.”
In December 2024, Atlee also confirmed that the film, tentatively titled A6, will be led by Salman Khan. Atlee is reportedly trying to orchestrate a casting coup by bringing on board either Rajinikanth or Kamal Haasan to create one of Indian cinema’s biggest spectacles.
“A6 is something that consumes a lot of time and energy. We have almost finished the script, and we are in the prep stage. Soon, a bang-on announcement will happen with God’s blessing,” the filmmaker said. More details regarding the project are awaited.
