Saif Ali Khan, who was stabbed at his Bandra residence during an attempted burglary, was rushed to Lilavati hospital in an auto rickshaw. The driver, Bhajan Singh Rana, played a crucial role in ensuring Saif received timely medical attention. Now, after being discharged and recovering, Saif met the driver before heading home, hugged him, and expressed his gratitude for his prompt action.

In a conversation with ETimes, Rana shared, “Unhone kaha tumne time pe pahunchaya badhiya hai (He told me, you made me reach the hospital on time and thanked me).”

When asked if Saif had given him any monetary reward upon returning home, the rickshaw driver stated, “Woh toh wohi jaante hai. Hum baat nahi kar sakte. Humari koi maang nahi. Woh joh de woh theek, na de toh theek. Unhone joh diya humne le liya.”

However, a source informed ETimes that Saif Ali Khan gifted Bhajan Singh Rana Rs 50,000 as a token of gratitude for his timely assistance.

Meanwhile, singer Mika Singh has also come forward to appreciate Bhajan’s efforts and has promised to reward him with Rs 1 lakh. Saif, who was attacked last week, was swiftly transported by Bhajan, who reportedly refused to accept any fare.

Mika Singh took to his Instagram Story, writing, “I strongly believe he deserves a reward of at least Rs 11 lakh for saving India’s favourite superstar. His heroic act is truly commendable! If possible, could you please share his contact information with me? I’d like to reward him with Rs 1 lakh as a token of appreciation.”

After Saif’s successful surgery, he and his mother, veteran actress Sharmila Tagore, met with Bhajan Singh to personally thank him. According to IANS, the actor promised to settle the unpaid fare and assured the auto driver of his continued support, encouraging him to keep helping others in need.
