It was time for the reunion of Pushpa actress Rashmika Mandanna and its director Sukumar. The duo was all smiles as they were engrossed in what seemed to be a fun conversation before heading towards a building for an event. A clip emerged online showcases an excited Rashmika cheerfully greeting the director before walking towards him, followed by hugging him. The unexpected reunion left fans in awe, showering love on the actress-director duo.

Rashmika Mandanna was last seen in Chhaava alongside Vicky Kaushal. A grand historical epic, the film narrates the inspiring story of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the eldest son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Vicky delivers a power-packed performance as the legendary Maratha warrior whereas Rashmika portrays his wife, Yesubai Bhonsale. Apart from the lead duo, the film also features Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana and Divya Dutta in key roles.

Next up for her is Sikandar, co-starring Salman Khan. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film’s teaser was released recently, adding to the hype among fans. The film, which is all set to hit the screens on Eid 2025, features Kajal Aggarwal in a pivotal role. While the plot of the film has been kept under wraps, it is backed by Sajid Nadiadwala’s banner, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.

Apart from Sikandar, Rashmika is also gearing up for the release of her next, titled Kubera. Dhanush and Nagarjuna also play key roles in the film. In a recent development, the release date of the upcoming film has been announced finally. The crime drama is slated to hit the theatres on June 20. Making the announcement, a poster was also dropped featuring Dhanush, Nagarjuna and Jim Sarbh.

Sekhar Kammula’s Kubera marks the first collaboration between Dhanush and the renowned Telugu director. Niketh Bommi came on board as the film’s cinematographer, while Devi Sri Prasad took charge to compose the music. Chaithanya Pingali is credited as the co-writer. Notably, Dhanush is also busy shooting for his upcoming Hindi film Tere Ishk Mein with director Aanand L Rai.
