Two iconic bands, Rascal Flatts and the Jonas Brothers, have come together to deliver a fresh heartbreak anthem with their collaboration, I Dare You. The emotional track reportedly features both groups sharing the spotlight, blending the country sound of Rascal Flatts with the pop flair of the Jonas Brothers. Starting on February 13 in Evansville, Indiana and wrapping up on April 5 in Jacksonville, Florida, the 21-date tour takes its name from their 2006 hit, Life Is a Highway. “We’re so excited to kick off this next chapter of Rascal Flatts with this single,” DeMarcus shared in a statement. “Working with Kevin, Joe, and Nick has been such a blast – they’re class acts. This song fits perfectly into our catalogue but also introduces something new and exciting. We can’t wait for our fans to hear it on the road!” he added, as reported by Billboard.
Meanwhile, the Jonas Brothers are also celebrating their own milestone this year. It has been 20 years since the group formed in 2005. On their website, fans can find a countdown clock hinting at an announcement, possibly a new tour, that’s expected to drop on February 14, which is also Valentine’s Day. The band is also returning to their Disney roots, having recently shared news about a new holiday film. In the movie, they will take on a classic holiday storyline, facing a series of hurdles as they try to make it home from London to New York in time for Christmas.
It’s a big year ahead for both groups, filled with new music, tours and exciting ventures that are sure to have fans buzzing.
