Rakul Preet Singh, known for being one of the fittest actors in the film industry, always prioritises her health. She follows a disciplined diet and exercise routine to stay in top shape. 2024 has been a tough year for her, as she recovered from a severe back injury. Now, the Runway 34 actress has shared her victory over another personal challenge that many can relate to — the struggle of letting go and enjoying food without feeling guilty.

The actress posted a series of photos on Instagram from her recent trip with her husband, Jackky Bhagnani, and wrote a long note. It read, “This holiday was about letting go. So, this is what I wanted to share. I’ve always struggled with letting go and enjoying food without feeling guilty, or constant pressure to get back on track. Basically, a lot of guilt associated with overeating and constant noise in my head.”

“But I’m so glad I could let go this year!! I was able to enjoy every bite of every meal, whether it was sugary or fried. It is a difficult challenge to live in the moment and enjoy the delight of it, and I’m sure many of you relate to it,” she added.

Rakul Preet emphasised that how a person feels from the inside is more important than the looks. “Here I’m telling you, it’s fine; pause, enjoy and get back on track. Because how you feel matters more than how you look. Accepting oneself is more important than seeking validation from others,” she wrote in the caption.

She ended the post by saying, “Okay, obviously, we need to go back on track, and it is time to do it without any fads, without any stress, embracing all of the memories of the trip and looking into the future of 2025.”

In the first photo, Rakul Preet is seen holding a plate with a milk cake on it. Her expressions were enough to tell how happy she felt while indulging in the dessert. Another photo had some glimpses from her trip to London.

On the work front, Rakul Preet will be next seen in the comedy-drama film, ‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi,’ alongside Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar. Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film will hit the theatres on February 21.

Apart from that, she has Kamal Haasan’s ‘Indian 3’ and ‘De De Pyaar De 2’ with Ajay Devgn.
