Defence Minister Rajnath Singh recently watched Akshay Kumar-starrer Sky Force, starring Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya, and took to X (formerly Twitter) to praise the team and the makers for their commendable efforts. In response, Akshay Kumar expressed his gratitude by quoting the Defence Minister’s tweet, saying it was an absolute honour for him and the film’s team that the CDS and the three service chiefs took time out to watch the film. Photos from the special screening were also shared online, capturing the memorable occasion.

Sky Force actors Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya, who will be seen essaying the role of Air Force officers in the film, hosted a special screening for NCC cadets in Delhi yesterday. The event was also attended by film’s producers, Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik. Special thanks to Lieutenant General Gurbirpal Singh and Disha Cell of the Indian Air Force.
The NCC, the youth wing of the Indian Armed Forces, brought infectious energy to the screening. The cadets were visibly captivated, reacting with awe and admiration to the film’s powerful and emotional moments.
The film sheds light on the untold story of India’s first and deadliest airstrike, showcasing a gripping tale of bravery, strategy, and sacrifice.
