British musician Ed Sheeran is finally in India. The singer began his tour with a mesmerising performance in Pune. As a part of his – = / x (Mathematics) Tour, Sheeran took the stage in Pune, enthralling the crowd. Wearing a t-shirt that had ‘Pune’ written to celebrate the city, the singer had a blast during his time at the concert wherein he delighted fans with his gig. At least, a clip shared by him on social media suggests so.

They were also screaming Sheeran’s name to the top of their voices. Meanwhile, the singer said, “My first show in India done,” while shaking hands with some of the attendees at the event.
In another standout moment from the evening, Sheeran also paused for a moment to express his gratitude to his fans, sharing that he has performed twice in India, both times in Mumbai. Set to bring his tour to other cities as well, he is excited and grateful for the opportunity to perform for the people of India.
Singer-actor Dot, best known for her acting debut with The Archies, opened the night for the global musician’s Mathematics tour last night. Notably, Sheeran’s Indian tour is produced and promoted by AEG Presents Asia and BookMyShow Live.
Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran also created history as he became the first international music artist to perform in Bhutan. Recently, he shared a video on Instagram offering glimpses of his time in the South Asian country.
“Had the honour to be the first-ever international artist to play Bhutan last night,” Ed Sheeran wrote in the caption of the post. He added, “What a gig, what a country, what a beautiful place with incredible people. Lemme know if I can move there, please and thank you.” In the clip, the four-time Grammy winner shared his excitement for his musical first in Bhutan and said, “It’s mad that this is the first international concert here.”
Looking ahead, Ed Sheeran is set to perform in Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, Shillong and Delhi-NCR for his India tour.
