Priyanka Chopra’s brother, Siddharth Chopra, is finally married to Neelam Upadhyaya. Siddharth and Neelam tied the knot on February 7, 2025, in a day wedding, surrounded by their family and friends. As the first videos from the wedding have begun to surface on social media, Siddharth and Neelam’s love is palpable.
In one of the first videos that have gone viral on social media, Siddharth and Neelam could be seen looking at each other fondly as they got ready for the jaimala ceremony. They exchanged garlands as rose petals fell on them.
In another video from the garland ceremony, Siddharth gave Neelam a sweet kiss on her forehead as he held her close. Neelam smiled as she looked at the love of her life, Siddharth. Neelam and Siddharth had been dating for a few years now.
During a conversation with Harpers Bazaar India, Priyanka Chopra mentioned that Siddharth met Neelam on an online dating app she had invested in. She said, “We took it (the app) to India, which was cool because my brother met his fiancée on the app. For once, he was grateful for something I did! They’re so cute. I love love.”
The couple celebrated their roka ceremony in April 2024, followed by an engagement and hastakshar ceremony in August 2024. Neelam is already quite close to Priyanka and the duo have often been seen together in India with Siddharth.
Before finding love with Neelam, Siddharth had a roka ceremony with Kanika Mathur in 2014 with a wedding initially planned for February 2015 in Goa. However, the wedding was called off, reportedly due to Siddharth’s focus on his career and business at the time.
Five years later, he got engaged to Ishita Kumar in New Delhi in 2019. Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas travelled from the US to attend the celebration. However, the wedding, scheduled for April 30 that year, was called off. His mother, Dr Madhu Chopra revealed that Siddharth felt he wasn’t ready for marriage. Siddharth has now found his life partner in Neelam.
