Priyanka Chopra’s brother Siddharth Chopra tied the knot with his ladylove Neelam Upadhyaya last night, and social media has been flooded with pictures and videos from their beautiful wedding ceremony. Now, a day later, PeeCee has also posted visuals from the ‘SidNee’ wedding, and her post includes some lovely moments- one of which shows her performing Siddharth and Neelam’s ‘gathbandhan’ ritual, tightly tying the knot. Meanwhile, other videos show her, Nick Jonas, as well as his parents Denise and Kevin Jonas Sr. dancing with the baraat.
The first video shared by Priyanka Chopra shows Siddharth and Neelam exchanging varmalas during the wedding ceremony. The groom kissed his wife on the cheek, while the guests showered the newly married couple with rose petals. The next picture is a family portrait featuring Priyanka, Nick, the actress’ mom Madhu Chopra and other family members on the stage with Siddharth and Neelam. The next video clip features the actress walking her brother to the mandap, followed by a glimpse of the bride’s entry. Up next is a fun video from the groom’s nose pulling ceremony. In the following clip, Priyanka Chopra is seen performing Siddharth and Neelam’s gathbandhan ritual, playfully tightening the knot, saying, “kaske, zor se, dum laga ke haisha,” leaving everyone in splits. Meanwhile, she posted several videos of the baraat, in which she is seen dancing her heart out to Bollywood and Punjabi songs.
Nick Jonas and his parents Denise and Kevin Jonas Sr were also seen grooving to dhol beats. In her caption, Priyanka Chopra wished Siddharth and Neelam a lifetime of love and happiness. She wrote, “To a lifetime of love, laughter, sunshine and happiness #SidNee ki shaadi! @siddharthchopra89 @neelamupadhyaya,” read the caption.
Priyanka also posted some endearing pictures of the newly married couple from their wedding. One photo shows Priyanka and Nick posing with Siddharth and Neelam post the wedding ceremony. In another picture, the ‘Citadel’ actress strikes a pose with her hubby. Another picture features her mom-in-law Denise Jonas, and father-in-law Kevin Jonas Sr. Commenting on Priyanka’s post, Mindy Kaling wrote, “Beautiful. Congrats to your family!” while Manish Malhotra dropped red heart emojis.
