The couple, who have been together for over a decade, exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony at Oleander Farms, Karjat, Maharashtra. Their pre-wedding festivities, which kicked off a few days ago, culminated in a dreamy wedding surrounded by close family and friends.
On February 25, Prajakta shared the first glimpses of her wedding, posting a series of heartwarming pictures with Vrishank. She kept the caption simple, marking the date—”25.02.25″—accompanied by a red heart and nazar amulet emoji.
Vogue India, which covered the wedding, revealed a special detail about the couple’s journey. “About 11 years into the relationship, Vrishank Khanal proposed to Prajakta Koli in September 2023 during a camping trip to West Virginia. And when they started planning the wedding, the brief was simple—a nature-inspired unpretentious affair, and that’s exactly what they got today,” the magazine shared on Instagram.
In an exclusive conversation with Vogue, the newlyweds shared their vision for the big day. “We told our family and friends that they could show up in pyjamas, for all we cared. We just wanted them to be well rested and enjoy,” they said. True to their theme, the couple kept it elegant yet relaxed. They donned matching ensembles by Anita Dongre—Prajakta looked ethereal in a sage and gold lehenga adorned with Parijat patterns and intricate Pichwai paintings, while Vrishank complemented her in an ivory sherwani.
