Guwahati: While the Brahmaputra River and its tributaries have 635 dolphins, the grim news is that there are none in Barak. Assam has an estimated 635 Gangetic river dolphins out of 6,327 in the country, according to the population status of dolphins in the country released on March 3 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
