Just days after tying the knot, Prateik Babbar and Priya Banerjee stepped out for a cosy dinner date in Mumbai. Last night, the newlyweds were captured outside a posh place, twinning in stylish black ensembles. For their date, the Ekk Deewana Tha actor kept it cool in a white tee and striped shorts layered up with a jacket that perfectly matched his wife’s little black dress. Keeping her look simple, Priya added a pop of glamour with red lips, open hair, transparent heels and her sleek mangalsutra.
A video shared on Instagram captured the newly married couple’s adorable chemistry as they happily obliged to pose for the paparazzi, flashing their warm smiles. After a while, Prateik and Priya headed inside the restaurant to spend a blissful dinner date in each other’s company. As they bid adieu to the paps and proceeded to enter the place, Prateik, like a gentleman, held the door for his wife so that she could step into the premises hassle-free.
After dating each other for a long time, Prateik and Priya decided to take their relationship to the next level on the day of love, i.e., Valentine’s Day. The couple got married in an intimate wedding ceremony held at Prateik’s late mother, Smita Patil’s house in Bandra, Mumbai, on February 14, 2025. Taking to their social media, the newly married couple shared a series of heartwarming pictures, perfectly capturing the warmth, love and togetherness of the people who gathered to celebrate their bond.
In a post captioned “I’ll marry you in every lifetime #priyaKAprateik,” Prateik and Priya shared their first-ever pictures as a married couple. Dressed in traditional ivory and gold ensembles by Tarun Tahiliani, the couple looked effortlessly gorgeous on their special day. Priya opted for an ivory and gold lehenga adorned with intricate threadwork and embroidery, which she paired with a corset and a sheer dupatta and opted for stunning kundan jewellery. Meanwhile, Prateik complemented her in an open sherwani, pairing it with a signature drape shirt and a classic dhoti set. The actor added a layered pearl necklace to accentuate the regality of his outfit.
The post began with a picture where the couple could be seen sharing a passionate kiss while holding hands. The next photo shows Prateik tying a mangalsutra around his bride’s neck.
