Priyanka Chopra’s brother, Siddharth Chopra, tied the knot with his fiancee, Neelam Upadhyaya last month. After their wedding on February 7, the couple hosted a grand reception, attended by close friends and family. Now, nearly a month into the marriage, the new bride has shared a string of pictures from the ceremony, treating her Insta fam to glimpses of the moments to be cherished forever.
The first frame features a loved-up photo of the newly wedded couple as they share a warm hug. Next up is a candid photo of them dancing together at their reception party. Additional pictures saw their families, including Siddharth and Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra dancing their hearts out to mark the celebrations. The lively atmosphere as they all laughed, cheered and clapped together is proof of the fun wedding that it was.
One of the highlights of the album remains Siddharth and Neelam walking hand-in-hand and we loved how the groom looked at his ladylove. Isn’t it just adorable? A monochrome picture featured Neelam enjoying the ceremony, grooving to the music. Sharing the photos, she wrote, “This was an after party, not a reception. Repeat after me- this was an after party, NOT a reception.”
For their reception bash, Siddharth Chopra wore a navy blue classic suit, while Neelam complemented him in a sea green cut-out dress. Siddharth’s outfit featured a tailored blazer with front button closures which he paired with matching pants, a contrasting mustard-coloured pocket square and a light blue shirt to complete the look. As for Neelam, her sleeveless ensemble had a midriff-baring cut-out and halter neckline at the center stage with a figure-hugging silhouette adding the sultry element.
Siddharth and Neelam tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony. The intimate affair was attended by Siddharth’s sister and global sensation Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas, Nita Ambani, Shloka Mehta, Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha. Nick’s parents, Denise Miller-Jonas and Kevin Jonas Sr also attended the festivities, wearing traditional outfits. On the wedding day, Priyanka walked her brother down the aisle, making for a touching moment that left many in awe.
Coming to Priyanka Chopra, the actress is speculated to have been busy shooting for SS Rajamouli’s SSMB 29. Mahesh Babu plays the lead role in the film, written by Vijayendra Prasad. Rumours have also been swirling that the film also stars John Abraham in a crucial role.
