NCT’s Doyoung recently celebrated his birthday on February 1 and to mark the special day, he hosted a live session to connect with his fans. During the session, he discussed the group’s recent concert and how he spent his birthday.What caught fans’ attention was when the idol made an important request for fans to stop speculating about his upcoming military enlistment, which was also the first time he publicly spoke about the topic. The South Korean sensation assured fans that he will share the enlistment details with them when the time is right. That’s not all, before his service, he plans to fulfill all their expectations and activities they’re looking forward to seeing.
As per KoreaBoo, the singer said, “Czennies, every time I try to have a serious talk, everyone jumps to conclusions, thinking I’m talking about the military. Everyone is like, ‘OMG, Doyoung. Are you ready because I’m not.’ Everyone is going crazy. Don’t worry. It’s not yet. Of course, I will let everyone know when the time comes. Before I go, I will do everything that you guys are anticipating and want to see, so don’t worry.”
“I know what you all want to see and are looking forward to. People, trust me and don’t be nervous. This Doyoung will take care of everything. Remember during last year’s live birthday broadcast, I said something bigger than a birthday party would be coming? Something big will come again this year. It’s coming, so don’t you worry,” Doyoung added.

Among all the NCT members, Taeyong and Jaehyun have already started military duties. The duo is expected to make a comeback in 2026. Doyoung, Jungwoo, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Jisung, Sion and Jaehee will be announcing their dates very soon.
NCT includes 25 members, who are divided into six sub groups, such as NCT U, NCT 127, NCT Dream, WayV, NCT DoJaeJung and NCT Wish. Sakuya, Ryo, Yushi, Riku, Chenle, Yangyang, Renjun, Hendery, Xiaojun, Mark, WinWin, Ten, Kun, Johnny and Yuta aren’t eligible to enlist in the South Korean military, as they hold citizenship of different countries.
