Nakuul Mehta and Jankee Parekh sought the blessings of Lord Shiva at a temple in Mumbai.

As the country celebrated Maha Shivratri on February 26, many celebrities also marked the occasion by offering prayers. Amidst them, popular television couple Nakuul Mehta and Jankee Parekh took time out from their busy schedule and sought the blessings of Lord Shiva at a temple in Mumbai.
Jankee shared a picture in which they were seen dressed in simple ethnic wear. Jankee wore a white kurta with a red printed dupatta and a silver jhumka. On the other hand, Nakuul was seen in a plain kurta. In the caption, Jankee wrote, “Love, abundance and wisdom…Happy Maha Shivratri.”
The post soon caught the attention of fans who wished the couple and appreciated their companionship. Other than Nakuul and Jankee, many television celebrities marked Maha Shivratri by offering prayers such as Anupamaa fame Rupali Ganguly, Palak Tiwari and Shilpa Shirodkar.
A few weeks back, Nakuul and Jankee marked their 13th wedding anniversary and the actor surprised his followers with rare glimpses from their wedding celebrations. In the clip, Nakuul looked charming as he wore a golden and pink sherwani. Meanwhile, Jankee stole the show as the radiant bride, wearing a gorgeous orange and gold lehenga. A scene from their varmala ceremony provided a magical touch. Along with the video, Nakuul wrote, “All the treasures of this world aside, That you chose to spend each day of this life with me is my greatest good fortune. Happy wedding anniversary, Jankee Parekh.”
The couple reportedly dated for nine years before tying the knot on January 28, 2012. The two met in a dance class taught by Shiamak Davar in Mumbai. In 2021, the couple welcomed their son, Sufi.
On the work front, Nakuul Mehta made his television debut in 2012 with the daily soap Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyara Pyara. Later, he appeared on other successful television shows, including Ishqbaaaz and Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. Next, Nakuul Mehta has been cast opposite Diana Penty as the lead in Karan Johar’s new series Daring Partners, produced by Dharmatic Entertainment. Tamannaah Bhatia and Javed Jaffrey have important roles in the show as well.
