Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor are gearing up for the release of their upcoming film ‘Nadaaniyan’ on Netflix. The highly-anticipated trailer of the film was released today, and it gives a closer look at the whirlwind romance between Khushi’s character Pia Jai Singh and Ibrahim’s character Arjun Mehta. Soon after the trailer dropped, Khushi’s sister Janhvi Kapoor, and Ibrahim’s sister and actress Sara Ali Khan took to their Instagram to share their views about Nadaaniyan trailer.
Janhvi Kapoor shared Nadaaniyan trailer on her Instagram stories, showing her support for her younger sister’s film. The ‘Devara’ actress wrote, “Pop corn rom com Netflix and chill finally (red heart emojis) this is the cutest (heart-eyed emojis).” Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan also cheered for her younger brother Ibrahim’s film, and wrote that the trailer was wholesome. “Trailer Nahi Trail Blazer hai (fire emojis) 7th March!!! Nadaaniyan revolves around Pia, a South Delhi diva determined to script her perfect love story, and Arjun, a middle-class overachiever with his sights set on becoming the debate team captain. Their worlds collide when Pia ropes Arjun into a transactional arrangement – posing as her boyfriend to pull off the perfect romantic facade. The plan is simple: keep everyone guessing, no strings attached. But as real feelings sneak in, misunderstandings take over, leaving the duo questioning whether love can ever be scripted.
This film marks Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan’s acting debut. Apart from him and Khushi, the film also stars Mahima Chaudhary, Suniel Shetty, Dia Mirza and Jugal Hansraj in pivotal roles. Meanwhile, soon after the trailer dropped, fans also spotted YouTuber Apoorva Makhija aka The Rebel Kid in the trailer of the film.
Directed by Shauna Gautam and produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Somen Mishra under Dharmatic Entertainment, the film is all set to premiere on March 7, on Netflix.
