Munawar Faruqui is celebrating his 33rd birthday on Tuesday, January 28. On this special day, his wife, Mehzabeen Coatwala took to her Instagram stories and sent wishes to the love of her life in a special way. She shared a romantic picture of them from one of their vacations and wrote, “Happy Birthday Hubby”, along with a red heart emoji.
In the picture, Munawar and Mehzabeen were seen striking a pose on a beach at the time of the sunset. While Munawar sported an all-white attire, Mehzabeen looked prettiest in a red outfit. Munawar Faruqui and Mehzabeen Coatwala tied the knot on May 26, 2024. It was said to be a close-knit affair which only their family members attended. In the photos from the intimate wedding ceremony that leaked online, the couple was seen cutting a cake together.
Later, a report by Times Now claimed that Hina Khan played cupid for Munawar and Mehzabeen. “Hina Khan introduced Munawar to Mehazabeen. At an event, Hina sent Mehazabeen to Munawar for his makeup. They met for the first time at that event,” a source cited by the entertainment portal claimed. It also reported that Hina attended the wedding ceremony as well.
Prior to Mehzabeen, Munawar Faruqui was married to Jasmine, with whom he also has a seven-year-old son named Mikael. While the comedian often shares pictures with his son online, he first opened up about him in Kangana Ranaut’s Lock Upp. Later, he also talked about his son with Mannara Chopra while they were in the Bigg Boss 17 house.
“I have been with someone for the past two years. I was in a marriage in 2017 and in 2020 we got separated. Last year our divorce was finalised. Amid all this, the best thing about my life is my son. He is 5 years old and stays with me,” he said.
